The Lithuanian Museum of Art Invites Artists to Participate in its 37th Season Opening Exhibition “Transformations: Between the Visible and the Invisible”

This year’s theme invites artists to explore change, evolution, and the invisible processes that shape individuals, society, nature, or ideas. The goal of the exhibition is not to illustrate the theme literally; rather, emphasis is placed on the artistic value of the work and its ability to engage in a meaningful dialogue with the chosen concept.

Important Dates:

• Submission of artwork photos: By August 8th
• Selection results announced: August 15th
• Artwork delivery to the museum: September 1st
• Exhibition opening: September 12th

Awards:

• 1st Place: $500
• 2nd Place: $300
• 3rd Place: $100

Šių metų tema kviečia tyrinėti kaitą, virsmą ir nematomus procesus, kurie formuoja žmogų, visuomenę, gamtą ar idėjas. Parodos tikslas nėra iliustruoti temą pažodžiui. Vertinama kūrinio meninė vertė ir gebėjimas prasmingai dialoguoti su pasirinkta tema.

Svarbiausios datos:

• Darbų nuotraukų pateikimas – iki rugpjūčio 8 d.
• Atrankos rezultatai – rugpjūčio 15 d.
• Darbų pristatymas į muziejų – rugsėjo 1 d.
• Parodos atidarymas – rugsėjo 12 d.

Apdovanojimai:

• I vieta – $500
• II vieta – $300
• III vieta – $100
