Dear Supporter of the Lithuanian World Center,
Thank you for being part of our community and for supporting the Lithuanian World Center with your time, talents, and treasure. Thanks to donors like you, the Center is able to open its doors to thousands of individuals and families who gather here to celebrate Lithuanian life through faith, education, sports, and the arts. We invite you to continue supporting today’s community and future generations by contributing to the Lithuanian World Center 2026 Annual Appeal, now underway through December 31, 2026.
As part of our mission to preserve and promote Lithuanian culture and heritage, the Lithuanian World Center sustains an Affordable Space Program that offers reduced rates to many of the 50 Lithuanian organizations that use our facilities, helping them save at least $350,000 each year. Your generosity makes this possible. Because of donors like you, these organizations can dedicate more resources to activities such as teaching our children the Lithuanian language and helping people experience the beauty of Lithuanian traditions.
To maintain the Lithuanian World Center as a welcoming community space, we are committed to ongoing investment in our 125,000-square-foot building and 18-acre grounds as part of our Facilities Stewardship Program. This includes both everyday repairs and major improvements. This year’s planned projects include the Southeast Wing and Garage Roof Replacements, Picnic Grounds Bar and Stairs Renovation, Gym Stage Curtain Replacements, Lower-Level Hallway Remodel, Commercial Dishwasher Replacement, and other upgrades.
Together, these efforts to offer affordable space and maintain our infrastructure require significant resources each year. While a portion of our total costs is covered by fees paid by our resident organizations and other income, donor support remains essential. To that end, the Lithuanian World Center has launched our 2026 Annual Appeal to raise $1 million in donations to help fund our Affordable Space and Facilities Stewardship Programs this year.
Since its beginning, the Lithuanian World Center has been supported by generous donors whose contributions have allowed the Center to thrive for 38 years and counting.
